Was this our finest hour? Karla has the longest, thickest, shiniest hair we’ve ever seen. We offer her half a King’s Ransom to get a “pixie” haircut- OR- a Fat King’s Ransom to go “all the way” to a shaved head. We let her think about it all weekend, and on Monday morning- the day we scheduled to do her haircut, Karla called me and said she decided to shave her head!! Well sir, you could have knocked me over with a feather!!

At two o’clock, Karla and Mike arrived. Karla was absolutely radiant and enjoyed showing off her beautiful long hair as we shot the “before” footage.

Sugar Pie also looked radiant as she warmed up the clippers- ready to go to work on Karla’s beautiful long hair.

When the moment of truth arrived, Sugar Pie ran the clippers right down the middle!! In the minutes that followed, Sugar Pie ran the clippers with “ruthless enthusiasm” leaving a SHOCKED KARLA staring at her bald self in the mirror!!

“Can you believe you did it?” we ask.

“Yes,” said Karla, smiling in the mirror, still recovering from the shock of her sudden baldness.

Karla got used to her newly shaved head, and even took up the razor and shaved herself EXTRA SMOOTH!!

Was this our finest hour? It’s hard to argue against it!!
